  7. Access the net, write mail, ftp, www and gopher from one window. You
  8. can also use AmiTCPHelper to organise the various AmiTCP config files
  9. including DialScript, .sig, config and newsgroups. Created with CanDO
  10. v's 2.0 and 3.0 by Ben Vost. This version does *not* come with the
  11. necessary CanDo.library v3.6. This is fine is you previously
  12. downloaded a copy of AmiTCPHelper.

  16. v1.16    Internal tidying up.
  17.     AmiTCPHelper now supports mail packages other than Elm.
  18.     Dos notify for mail messages implemented, but not to my
  19.     satisfaction. A tooltype will allow for the old method to be
  20.     resumed.
  21.     ***IMPORTANT CHANGE*** AmiTCPHelper now only runs for ten
  22.     minutes before shutting down. Registering will remove this
  23.     restriction.
  24.     Other odds and sods improved like the appearance of the list
  25.     window and the mail out area.

  28. v1.15    Bit of a change around for this version, no more text fields
  29.     for Ping, finger, etc., but a list of addresses which can be
  30.     freely edited. Bang goes the Newsgroup list, but if anyone
  31.     wants it back, I can still replace it.

  34. v1.14    There was no version 1.13 but only because I don't like to
  35.     tempt fate :) v1.14 sees the addition of the Mailqueue clone
  36.     to the AmiTCPHelper window. At the moment this checks
  37.     uuspool: every five seconds to see if there is new mail or if
  38.     mail has been sent. It creates a text file in T: called
  39.     SpoolList, so if you find your DOpus constantly rereading T:
  40.     that is the reason. 
  41.     Changed the About menu item back to the standard one, the one
  42.     in v1.12 was only for registered users.
  43.     Rewrote some of the documentation to stop it seeming so
  44.     dated.
  45.     Changed the way the mailboxes were checked and now the
  46.     requester will change dynamically if mailboxes are deleted.
  47.     In previous versions you had to restart AmiTCPHelper to see
  48.     any changes. The names in the requester are also now in
  49.     alphabetical order.
  50.     Internal simplification. I got rid of a couple of tooltypes
  51.     that didn't do anything along with their mentions in the
  52.     scripts.

  55. v1.12    Yet another rejig of the buttons as the Prefs and Read News
  56.     buttons have been removed. Not sure if I like the new layout
  57.     so it might get changed yet again...
  58.     I've added a DOSNotify event to check to see if a new mailbox
  59.     has been added when mail is received. Previously, the only
  60.     time AmiTCPHelper checked for the names of the mailboxes was
  61.     at startup.
  62.     One internal change with regard to how registered owners are
  63.     dealt with...
  64.     Dumped the Prefs page as being beyond my capabilities and
  65.     also a bit pointless.
